Filtration starts with our trusted showerhead perc, then steps up with a full recycler system. Water continuously cycles through the piece, creating constant movement, cleaner filtration and a smoother pull. You'll see it in action: bubbles stack, drain and repeat, forming a subtle tornado effect inside the percolator.

Up top sits our XL DNA Chamber, holding 50% more glycerin than our entry bongs. Inside, dual looping coils extend the cooling path, so smoke is chilled longer before it reaches you. The result is a deeper, longer-lasting chill than our entry bongs.

Glycerin & how it works

Glycerin is a non-toxic, food-grade gel commonly used in food and personal care products. When frozen, it cools smoke more efficiently than water.

Only the coil goes in the freezer. Smoke is filtered through the showerhead perc and the recycler, then sent the long way through the two looping paths of the XL DNA Coil, wrapped in freezable glycerin. The dual, wide-diameter paths keep airflow open and make rinsing easy. Unlike water, glycerin doesn't expand when it freezes, so the coil can live in your freezer between sessions.

Cleaning & care

Cleans just like a traditional piece. You need 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, or any off-the-shelf cleaner.

Take it apart. Dump the old water, then remove the glycerin coil and bowl.
Fill each part separately. Add cleaning solution to the base and the coil, and tilt each one so it works through every perc and passage. Drop the bowl in a cup to soak.
Plug both ends and shake. Your hands work fine, or use silicone caps, rubber plugs or a rolled-up paper towel. Shake until the resin breaks loose.
Rinse, dry, refreeze. Rinse everything with room-temperature water and wipe it down. Once the coil is completely dry, it goes back in the freezer.

Daily users: rinse the coil and bowl after heavy sessions and deep clean every two to three weeks. Lighter use: once a month is plenty. We'll email cleaning tips after purchase.

How long does it take to freeze?

At least an hour. Only the coil goes in the freezer, and since glycerin doesn't expand when it freezes, it can live in there between sessions, ready whenever you are. Make sure it's completely dry before it goes back in.

How do I set it up?

Freeze the coil for at least an hour.
Pour water into the downstem until the slits in the perc are fully under water. Keep the water 1 to 2 inches above the slits.
Place the coil on the base and secure the clip, with the large side of the clip facing the base.

Set it on a flat, stable surface and start with slow, easy pulls.

Will it really feel smoother than my bong?

That's the question we hear most. Every pull gets filtered through the showerhead perc and the recycler, then chilled through the XL DNA Coil by up to 300°. It's the smoothest bong we make. Start with slow, easy pulls.

What does the recycler do?

A recycler keeps water moving. As you pull, water cycles up through the piece and drains back into the base, over and over, so smoke gets more contact with water on its way to the coil. You can watch it work: bubbles stack, drain and repeat in a subtle tornado inside the perc.

The Bong Ultimate is the big brother to the Bong Pro. Both filter through a showerhead perc. The Bong Ultimate adds a full recycler system, an ergonomic hourglass shape and the XL DNA Coil, two looping coils with 50% more glycerin than our entry bongs. Which kit should I get?

The Bong Ultimate comes ready to go with an 18mm honeycomb bowl and clips. The Flower Kit adds an ash catcher, a koozie and a hemp rope.
