It's the only piece we make that cools three ways. The freezable glycerin downstem starts the job the second you spark up, the upgraded showerhead perc filters through a churn of water, and the XL DNA coil finishes with our coldest coil. Three stages stacked, and 75% smoother than a bong full of ice.

Glycerin & how it works
Glycerin is a non-toxic, food-grade gel commonly used in food and personal care products. When frozen, it cools smoke more efficiently than water.
The coil and the downstem go in the freezer. Smoke is chilled the moment it leaves the bowl, filtered through the water, then sent the long way through the two looping paths of the XL DNA Coil. Unlike water, glycerin doesn't expand when it freezes, so both can live in your freezer between sessions.
Cleaning & care
Cleans just like a traditional piece. The coil lifts off the base, and the downstem and bowl pull out.
- Empty the water and rinse after each session. Let the coil and downstem dry 20 to 30 minutes before they go back in the freezer.
- For a deeper clean, add isopropyl alcohol (91% or higher) and coarse salt, plug the openings and shake.
- Let it soak 10 to 15 minutes if needed, then rinse with room-temperature water.

Why it's smoother
Colder Than Ice, Nothing To Melt
Most bongs rely on water alone to cool smoke, and ice barely makes a dent. It melts fast, the water climbs, and the harshness is back before the bowl is done. Glycerin doesn't melt.
Smoke leaves the bowl through a downstem filled with freezable glycerin, then rises into an XL chamber with 50% more glycerin than standard, where the DNA Coil's two intertwined paths send it the long way through the cold. Every loop adds more chill.
Three levels of smooth. Chilled downstem, water filtration, then the XL DNA Coil, for smoke chilled by up to 300° and 75% smoother than a bong full of ice. That means pulls that are easier on your throat and, for most people, a lot less coughing.

How long does it take to freeze?
About an hour. The coil and the downstem both go in the freezer, and since glycerin doesn't expand when it freezes, they can live in there between sessions, ready whenever you are.
How do I set it up?
- Freeze the coil and the glycerin downstem for about an hour. Only those two go in the freezer, never the base with water in it.
- Put the downstem in the base and add water until the showerhead perc sits under the water. Start low and add a little at a time, since too much water can bubble up into the cold coil.
- Set the coil on the base, secure it with the clip, then add the bowl to the downstem.
Set it on a flat, stable surface and start with slow, easy pulls.
Will it really feel smoother than my bong?
That's the question we hear most. It cools three ways: the chilled downstem starts the second you spark up, the showerhead perc filters through the water, and the XL DNA Coil finishes the job, for smoke chilled by up to 300°. That's 75% smoother than a bong full of ice, with no melt and no refills.

Is the glass durable?
The Beaker Ultimate is made from 5mm borosilicate glass, the lab-grade type built for daily use, with a reinforced coil-to-base connection. It's still glass, so give it the care you'd give any good piece, and keep it on a flat, stable surface.
