Glycerin & how it works

Glycerin is a non-toxic, food-grade gel commonly used in food and personal care products. When frozen, it cools smoke more efficiently than water.

Only the coil goes in the freezer. Smoke is filtered through the double showerhead perc, then split into the four straight tubes of the Revolver Coil, where the chilled glycerin around them cools every pull before it reaches you. Unlike water, glycerin doesn't expand when it freezes, so the coil can live in your freezer between sessions.

Cleaning & care

Cleans just like a traditional piece, and a coil cleaning brush is in the box.

Empty the water and rinse after each session. Let the coil dry 20 to 30 minutes before it goes back in the freezer.
For a deeper clean, put the coil in a zip-lock bag with isopropyl alcohol (91% or higher) and coarse salt, and gently tilt it so the solution runs through the tubes. For the base, add solution, plug the openings and shake.
Let it soak 10 to 15 minutes if needed, then rinse with room-temperature water.

How long does it take to freeze?

About an hour. Only the coil goes in the freezer, and since glycerin doesn't expand when it freezes, it can live in there between sessions, ready whenever you are.

How do I set it up?

Freeze the coil for about an hour. Only the coil goes in the freezer, never the base with water in it.
Add a little water to the base, just enough to cover the double showerhead perc. Start low and add a little at a time, since too much water can bubble up into the cold coil.
Seat the coil straight on the base, snap the clip on gently (never force it), then add the bowl.

Start with slow, easy pulls.

Will it really feel smoother than a regular bubbler?

That's the question we hear most. A regular bubbler gives smoke one quick pass through a little water. Here, every pull gets filtered through the double showerhead perc, then chilled through the Revolver Coil by up to 300°. Big-bong smooth, in a piece you hold in one hand.
