What glycerin actually is
Glycerin is a non-toxic, food-grade gel commonly used in food and personal care products. When frozen it cools smoke more efficiently than water and stays cold far longer.
Unlike water, glycerin doesn't expand or contract when frozen — which is why the chamber can live in your freezer indefinitely without damage.
Cleaning
Cleans just like a traditional piece. Add solution, plug the openings with a napkin, and shake. For deeper cleans let the solution sit for 10–15 minutes.
Any store-bought solution works, or mix coarse sea salt with 99% isopropyl alcohol. Rinse with room-temperature water and let dry before freezing again. We'll email cleaning instructions after purchase.
